Hi everybody. I see the downloads link up above. I go there, I click myTV: Nothing. I click Trial Editions: Nothing.
Where can I download this software? I'd really like to buy it, but I'm going to at least try it out first.

We pulled the trial downloads when we disabled the old interfaces on TheTVDB as the old trial was then unsupported.
There will be a new one up "shortly", so keep checking back every few days or so.

As for a trial, one will be provided as and when but it's not a priority as it's not costing us very much in lost sales anyhow. Fixing up w7 compability now though and we'll see if there's a release after that's done.
There's only one part of myTV not working properly in 7 as far as I can tell... I'm not sure why others are having issues, unless they installed W7 as an upgrade.
One improvement in the W7 SDK is the ability to use the animated version of the media centre background. I think people, especially using extenders would appreciate that option.
Not a problem for me as the myTV background is not siginificantly different.
Yeah, it works here also (and has done from day one - bar the install issue of course) so I'm not sure what's going on either, but some people do seem to be completely unable to run the application. However, this seems to affect any AddIns they try so it's likely to be a w7 bug rather than something on our end.
I'm using the 32bit W7 from Technet, maybe the builds are slightly different between that and the public beta. Or it could be an x64 only issue...
Hopefully people will post their setups soon so we can look for a common denominator.
I think the builds are the same, although I haven't checked. I've tried the MSDN/Technet official build, the "closed" build and the leaked build though without a hitch. I think (but can't remember at the moment) that one of those was a x64 install.
But yeah, I think I posted earlier today about getting some system specs in to try and narrow down this problem (even though it is only beta at the moment it'll be nice to be ahead of the game for once :p).

I took a chance.....and it paid off. Lovely piece of software.....still trying to figure out a few things, but im getting there.
