It's been a while since I've used Vista, but as far as I remember, myTV uses its own strip even in that. I know for a fact it does in 7 as well.

Oh, yeah, wouldn't expect any differently, just was clarifying a bit. Definitely didn't mess everything up like lyle said, that's for sure.

For me, while the server was down, myTV loaded new episodes fine, just without any metadata (of course). It didn't add new shows, however (I'd put the series.id files into the folder, don't know if it acts differently the other way). But today, everything has metadata and all my shows are loaded.

It was semi-working for me earlier, but a couple of my episodes ended up with no data for them, a new show I added hasn't appeared yet, and in trying to give a show a rating, the banner disappeared and went back to the built-in one (and I couldn't download any of the other banners either).

Personally, I find that it doesn't do enough extra above and beyond the standard Movie Library built into 7. It only looks slightly better than Movie Library, and just doesn't seem like much of an improvement.
Also worth noting is that you only get (I believe) one Ultimate license, which means the two other boxes need to run Home Premium or Business editions, which may affect you if you actually utilize the Ultimate "features" on all computers. Most people do not though.
Not sure that's the case, I have

$300 sounds like way too much. I got my renewal for around $250, I believe. Should be closer to $200-ish with 40% off. Edit: Oops just saw you're not in the US, never mind.
