Noooo deadspeak! You're a traitor too? Lol. Guess I'll have to give it a go. Does it work with SQLExpress too, or would I need to install this "Lite" version to make it work?

Is MediaBrowser better? I glanced over at the website just now, and even though it seems to have a pretty interface, I'm not sure I should just jump on the bandwagon. I've spent good time betatesting myTV, and good money buying a license for it. I'd hate to have that all go to waste. Bob808; how has your experience been with it? Will it

Ok, I did a lot of things today, not sure which part made it work, but it works now... here's everything new I tried: Deleted and recreated MCE user on MCE-PC with a 10-character password. Changed folder/file permissions of "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server" to NOT be read-only and allowed EVERYBODY Full Control permissions on the

  • Old pro feels like new again :(

Guys I need some help. I'm reinstalling everything from scratch since having to rebuild my server. Here's where I'm at.. New motherboard and smaller drives in the WHS. Still running the initial install of WHS ok (x86 version). I was using an older version of myTV on another machine and this server in the past. A few days ago I tried to run

  • Back from the dead!

I'm back finally. Where have I been for the last year? Well, on May 28th, 2009, our condo building had a fire. It spread from the 3rd apartment all the way to the end, where we are in the 2nd to last in the 7th out of 8. It destroyed probably 95% of everything we owned. Included in this disaster was my HDTV, Media Center, Windows Home Server, Color

I thought about that, but didn't want to waste any money yet since I don't have a job, and what money I have has to last. I thought it might be the power supply too, but wasn't sure. Is there anything I should try before going out and replacing stuff?

Ok, the details on the living arrangements are tricky. See, Louise (the owner) used to lived there, and everything was fully insured, the condo and it's contents. Then her mom hurt herself really really bad about 8 years ago by slipping on some ice. She lived about a block away in a house Louise actually grew up in. When her mom had to move into

We were renting the condo, we didn't own it. The owner didn't have any insurance on it. She used to when she lived there, but when she moved out, she stopped paying the insurance premiums. There was a lot of fuss over the fact that LEGALLY she was supposed to have insurance, even if it was just bare minimum, to be able to rent out the place
