You have three options: rename the folder V (2009), this will only work if it's actually the remake and not the original; or download myTV tools from the downloads section, use the seriesIDs tab to create a seriesid in the V folder; or manually create a file called series.id and add the series id from thetvdb and save it in the v folder.
-
If they're 'complete' series (i.e. no longer airing) you could just add the folder to the skip folders part of the myTV settings file. That might (should) cause the service to miss those files and not update them.

Try setting it to 1 and see how it goes.

Sorry, what I meant to say in my response is that you can edit the show order name in the database. So you can change the DB to say Doctor Who 1, Doctor Who 2, etc etc and then myTV will sort on that instead of the 'random' order of the Doctor Who series. There is no option within myTV to do so, so you'd need to use the SQL Server tools
-
Not having read all of that --- yet -- you could manually edit the sort order field in the SQL database to order the episodes correctly (you could even edit the displayed name). You'd have to lock the record once you do that though, otherwise myTV will write over the information when it does the update.
-
No, to both.

It's because of the timeout... you can edit the settings.xml file to change the <DoCollectionOutput> option to false. It'll then ignore the collection output and should add episodes a lot quicker.
-
I can't really say, I haven't seen the timeout errors personally. It looks like an issue with your SQL server more than anything else. Is the SQL Server installed on the same machine?

Using 32bit, I can delete the files from the database and file system. I do get a crash if I have deleted episodes from the file system and it hasn't updated the db. When myTV prompts the "Should I remove from the DB" it works, but once it reaches the last file will crash out.

Something must have happened between the paypal payment and the automatic upgrade of your account. I'll message Admin to let him know so he can upgrade you.
